Let me do a brief recap of episode 10 (which I didn’t review, but so what)…………… In a flashback, we find out that a virus which can spread just like a flu bug is the cause of babies being born with horns and incredible powers. By Shirakawa’s orders, all babies afflicted with this disease were quarantined and executed. And just because he was so nice, Kurama took over the duties of exterminating all the newborns, since he knew that the families of these children were gonna have problems doing the job themselves. But of course when his newborn daughter caught the virus, he couldn’t ... Read Full Story

Nana (aka #7), runs into Lucy, and it’s on now. Remember, it’s #7’s job to bring Lucy home, and of course she’s not going anywhere without a fight. I want #7 to win, but I wouldn’t bet my paycheck on it. This episode deals with a serious issue, incest. No, you don’t actually see anyone doing anything, nevertheless, the scenario is there, so if you’re sqeamish about such things, don’t bother watching it, just skip to the next episode. This is definitely not for kids, so if you catch your little brother or sister trying to pop in an Elfen Lied DVD behind your back, just slap them upside their heads, and the situation is dealt with. We find out the reason why Mayu ran away from home was to get away from her creepy stepfather who’s always trying to get some. One day she ... Read Full Story

For all of you who wonder what goes on in the mind of serial killers, this episode is a definite must-see. In the last episode, young Lucy just killed a whole bunch of kids, and now she’s on the loose. She runs into a young Kohta who’s carrying a music box that’s playing that catchy tune that’s used in the beginning of every episode. So they start talking, and he notices her elf ears sticking out of her head. Now Lucy gets ready to take him out, but Kohta actually thinks they’re cool. Hmmmm. He doesn’t know it, but he just saved his life ... Read Full Story
