Five years after being traded away in a draft-day swap for Eli Manning, Philip Rivers came back and stuck it to the Giants. Rivers capped an 80-yard drive with an 18-yard pass to Vincent Jackson with 21 seconds to play and the San Diego Chargers stunned the Giants 21-20, handing New York its fourth straight loss.  

With all of the obvious problems on defense, one thing that has upset me more than anything the past three games is the old Eli Manning making an appearance. Eli Manning insists he isn't hurt, even though his coach, Tom Coughlin, said he has seen the quarterback not push off correctly when he throws in practice because of an injury to his right foot. The Giants receivers are banged up, but they are no worse than they were earlier in the season, when New York jumped out to a 5-0 start. And the rushing game has been a good enough second option to threaten opposing defenses.
