Hostel director Eli Roth’s next film will be Invasion, a Colverfield-esque take on the classic alien invasion formula.

I haven’t made it a big secret that I like Eli Roth . I’ve even hopped by his Myspace to tell him how amazing I think he is. I think that his mind is warped and for some reason I like that. Take for instance Hostel . It was amazingly gory. I was covering my face because some of it I couldn’t handle. That is the kind of horror movie I like!
New stills from his movie, Cotton , have come out and I hope that exorcism to him will be wicked. The synopsis for the movie is this: Disillusioned by... Read Full Story
I have NO IDEA why something of this import, which took place on Wednesday, took until today to reach my cinematic ears. So much for "breaking news." I'm sorry. I'm truly sorry. I just saw one of the best and totally underrated Horror movies on DVD, “Quarantine”, that I recommend to any fan of Director Eli Roth “Cabin Fever”. Imagine “Cabin Fever” with less humor Meets “Das Boat” meets “The Blair Witch Project Done Well not Crap” and you have “Quarantine”. I thought the acting by a little known cast was incredible and John Erick Dowdle did one of the best directing jobs I’ve seen in years (he also wrote the screenplay).
I don’t understand why this movie didn’t... Read Full Story
Just last night, my friends and I were talking about Eli Roth and wondering what his next project was. Well here it is... It is not aliens or robots or a virus - it’s a little more grounded. But when people hear it they are going to be like ‘That is going to be insane!’" Roth told MTV in a recent... Read Full Story
OrangeMercury has obtained this EXCLUSIVE photograph of Eli Roth, shot immediately after Roth was taken into custody by Canadian police for the beheading of a 22 year old white male who rejected his sexual advances on a Greyhound bus. It was said the deceased was listening to a bootleg copy of George Michael's Madison Square Garden concert from 23 July 2008 on his 80gb black iPod when he was initially grabbed and stabbed. There has been no comment from Lionsgate Films, but Quentin Tarantino... Read Full Story

It's been a fair amount of time since gore-master Eli Roth 's Hostel 2 . He last did an acting gig in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds , but Roth looks to be preparing to get back into the fold with a pair of movies in-hand that he's hoping to complete together.
