Wiesel, NGO Monitor Board Member

I was just reading a Haaretz story about the orchestrated Israeli government campaign against Human Rights Watch in response to the latter’s support for the Goldstone Report.  The article noted that Elie Wiesel signed a letter to the Guardian which praised Robert Bernstein’s bitter, disjointed diatribe against HRW in the NY Times Op Ed section.  But this passage really stood out: Human Rights Watch said that the criticism has come from right-wing blogs, but also from Israeli non-profit... Elie Wiesel Mocked at J Street Conference

Elie Wiesel Mocked at J Street Conference The "independent" blogger panel at J Street's conference can only be described as clownish. The panel consisted mostly of crackpots and self-described anti-Zionists and "one-staters" (J Street director Jeremy Ben-Ami calls the one-state solution a "nightmare," but it seems to be the dream of many of the organization's supporters). Though J Street tried to distance itself from the panel by describing it as an "unofficial" and "independent" event, the... Read Full Story

Fool me once …

Well, actually no. He didn’t have ME fooled for one second. Unfortunately he did fool someone else. So shame Shame SHAME! on the judge who gave this anti-Semite asshat a break from well-deserved jailtime with ‘credits for time served and good behavior’ after he gave Holocaust survivor, scholar and Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel a beatdown in a San Francisco elevator two years ago. Shame on him, indeed. Because that sick trick ———-> is at it again. In a lawsuit filed in... Read Full Story
