Eliot Spitzer, Ex-NY Governor, to Speak at Harvard on Ethics

(Getty Images)more pics »Eliot Spitzer, the former New York governor whose penchant for call-girls leaked last March and led to his removal from office, has been invited by Harvard University to speak to students today on a subject some people would probably find him lacking: ethics.

The ex-governor sure is drawing a big crowd to his talk, titled "From Ayn Rand to Ken Feinberg – How Quickly the Paradigm Shifts. What Should Be the Rationale for Government Participation in the Market?" The Boston Globe reports that there are no more tickets to the free event.

But, there's one person who'd like to go who just can't make it. Kristin Davis, the madam who "supplied" Spitzer with high-end hookers, wrote a letter to the campus' ethics center, lamenting not being able to leave New York (because of her probation restrictions) to make the talk. "I am greatly intrigued as to what Mr. Spitzer could contribute to an ethical discussion when as Chief Executive Law Enforcement Officer of NY he broke numerous laws for which he has yet to be punished," she wrote.

She also included a few questions she'd like asked of the former NY politician, including:

"3. Is it ethical for you to tip off your favorite escort service days before a bust so that they may disappear?" Yikes.
