Sarah Murdoch, Rupert Murdoch daughter in law, is in the news today as she is vehemently denying alleged reports that she is pregnant. She was photographed on the beach near her home with her husband, Lachlan Murdoch, and an Australian tabloid magazine ran the pictures alleging that she was pregnant., even after Murdoch told the reporter that she was not. She said:

I am so not pregnant. We just went for a swim and I had the biggest towel wrapped around my waist. The journalist rang and I told them I was definitely not pregnant. Its upsetting because we would like to have another child and I think everyone knows that, but dont put it out there if we are not.

Sarah Murdoch Biography

As a biography, Sarah Murdoch was born on May 31, 1972 in London, England, so her age is 36. Sarah grew up in Sydney, Australia and studied ballet at The McDonald College of the Performing Arts. Unfortunately, she was told that she was too tall to be a ballerina, and thus she focused on becoming a model instead.

As a model, she has lent her face and body to notable ad campaigns such as Estee Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren and Revlon. She has also graced the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues in 1999 and 2003.

Sarah Murdoch was a fill in on the Australian version of the Today show in 2007, while host Jessica Rowe was on maternity leave. On October 4, 2007, Murdoch was a guest host on Today in support of breast cancer, as she is the National Breast Cancer Foundation Patron.

Along with hosting Australias Next Top Model, she serves as co-executive producer of the popular reality show. Her production company, Room 329, is slated to produce several documentaries for FOXTEL.

On a personal note, Sarah Murdochs husband is Lachlan Murdoch, the son of media mogul Rupert Murdoch. They were married in 1999 and have two sons, Kalan Alexander, who was born on Novemer 9, 2004, and Aidan Patrick, who was born on May 6, 2006.
