Elle Macpherson Is Britain's Top Model Host

Macpherson has found commercial success with her intimates line.A few weeks ago, it was announced that British supermodel Naomi Campbell had dropped out of negotiations to host Britain's Next Top Model, the UK's installment of the popular modeling competition. Now, it's been announced that none other than Australian model Elle Macpherson will step into the role for the upcoming season.
Macpherson has flirted with television before, most recently nabbing a role on the short-lived series The Beautiful Life. She replaces British model Lisa Snowdon, who has hosted the show since 2006.
Claudia Rosencrantz, a director at Virgin Media TV, said of Elle, "She has a unique combination of stunning beauty, compelling screen presence and razor-sharp business instincts, which will make her an inspiration for Britain's aspiring Next Top Models."
