If you are anything like me, you have never given thought to the effort that it takes to make an email template - that is, until you attempted to create one. One of the first things I found out is that is was important to add links, embedded throughout the email template, in order to make sure people found my company. Your email newsletter template should include sales and company news, as well as links that will take clients to your website.
Do not understand this to mean that you should always used embedded links in pictures and text in your email. I have found that it's best to limit the scope of your information to highlighting a few pertinent points so that visitors can easily navigate to your webpage if they desire. If you have a company logo for example, it would be nice to embed a link back to your website in the picture of that logo. What is also practiced alot, is embedding links in the news and sale sections of your website. I also added a text link at the bottom of the email so clients that read it don't have to scroll back up to click on it.
Of course, there's always the option to
buy email templates from reputable sources. So as to keep the appearance of the email layout professional, I prefer to keep a big portion of the email blank. to accommodate introductions and company info. In doing this, I can make it so the email template design is professional and not just spam or begging people to buy from me. The clients are more comfortable when you are trying to establish an honest connection with the client. Sometimes clients put off by overly aggressive email tactics. For this reason, it is crucial that I clearly organize all aspects of my email marketing templates to actively reach out to individuals and do what I can to get them to visit my website.
