Federal authorities in Los Angeles say they will pay a reward of up to $150,000 following the capture of one of the FBI's most-wanted fugitives, who disappeared for nine years following the shooting of a sheriff's deputy. Authorities say a fugitive from the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list suspected of spraying automatic weapons fire at two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies nearly nine years ago is in custody in Mexico. Emigdio Preciado Jr., 40, an accused Southside Whittier gang member, faces charges including attempted murder on a peace officer, conspiracy to commit a crime, carrying a loaded firearm and having a concealed firearm in a vehicle, according to court records.
