By JENNIFER STEINHAUER, The New York Times LAS VEGAS — Voters in Nevada fret about the economy. Many are disquieted by the war. They worry about taxes, the federal threat of a nuclear waste site in their midst, immigration and gun rights. But with the Nevada caucuses coming Saturday, little seems to concern people here as much as health care. The state has an unusually high number of people with no insurance, doctors are hard to come by, Medicaid reimbursements are low and health care safety nets are eroding. “I used to be able to go to the V.A. and they’d take care of ... By KEVIN FREKING, Associated Press WASHINGTON (AP) — The Bush administration's health agenda this year will consist largely of fending off Democratic lawmakers until a new president and Congress take charge. In a preview of what is ahead, Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt says the administration will work to limit the government's role in the delivery of health care. I thought this article was very interesting. Only KU football fans will appreciate it, thought. So for all you Jayhalkans, here you go! By ANDREW MCDONALD, Kansas City Star MacDonald Few in August projected the University of Kansas football team in a Bowl Championship Series game, while Virginia Tech entered the season in the Associated Press top 10, expecting to return for a fifth major bowl. In December, though, the Orange Bowl announced the unlikely match-up between the Jayhawks and the Hokies. Pundits hailed KU’s inspiring Cinderella story. But even Lou Holtz agreed that the more experienced Hokies would crush the untested Jayhawks. When ... Read Full Story

[Pictured above: Barack Obama is pouting because he will lose Pennsylvania 'big time' to Hillary Clinton, but you wouldn't know it from the mainstream media, who are twisting reports and polls to make Clinton appear weak -- in fact, she is on a winning streak of all the major population states except Illinois, Obama's home state: Can you say 'media bias'?] A lot of loyal members of the Democratic Party are asking why the Mainstream Media are fiercely bashing Hillary and seemingly trying to throw the primaries in Obama's favour. It's not just our imagination or group paranoia, either. CNN's Lou Dobbs (with whom ... Read Full Story

It's time right now to do everything we can to get MITT ROMNEY nominated to challenge the extreme liberals. Romney's the only candidate who offers grassroots America any hope of taking Washington back for the people. Old boy McCain is a liberal, and Huckabee, good man that he is, is nationally unelectable. He has been painted into a corner that represents only a certain group of people, some of them not seeming to understand the constitutional need for separation of church and state. It's good to be true to our cherished religious doctrinal beliefs, but that's not what American elections are about. It's sad, ... Read Full Story
