This zine is dedicated to Emily Keyes, a victim in the Baily CO school shooting. Keyes was killed by suspected gunman Duane Morrison on September 27th, 2006. Morrison shot her when a SWAT team raided the classroom where he was holding 6 high school girls (including Keyes) hostage. Morrison later shot and killed himself.

Park County authorities set up a tip line, for anyone with information about the attack. The line still works. If you have more information, please call police at 303-816-5947.

Not much is known yet about Duane Morrison, the gunman in Wednesday's Baily, CO school shooting.
 
 

Here is what we know so far:
  • He was 53 years old.
  • He wore a hooded sweatshirt and a backpack.  Police have not released details about what was in the backpack.
  • He had 2 weapons on him, a semi-automatic pistol and a revolver.
  • He was living in his jeep but had a Denver, CO mailing address.  Morrison had a lot of camping gear in the vehicle.
  • His brother-in-law said that he had worked as a carpenter.
  • Morrison had no historical connection to the town of Bailey.
