More than 200 television professionals from Louisiana to Puerto Rico were hopeful they would be selected for a regional Emmy award at the 39th annual award ceremony Saturday night. The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences held its annual awards ceremony at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando. More than 450 people were expected to attend this year's ceremony.  

The winners of this year's International Emmy awards have been announced. The ceremony - which recognises excellence in television produced outside the United States - declared the winners of the awards, now in their 37th year, at a gala event held in the New York Hilton. Hosted by British television celebrity Graham Norton, the awards made history with Brazil taking home their first ever Intern.....  

British TV personality David Frost is being honoured at the 37th Annual International Emmy Awards for a wide-ranging career that has taken him from pioneering political satire on television to conducting serious interviews with former President Richard Nixon and other newsmakers.
