Now, Emmy Rossum is joining in by wearing another wedding dress to the Wildlife Conservation Fund's spring gala. Kate, Emmy and Dakota all wore Marchesa Bridal—are wedding dresses on the red carpet the newest celebrity trend?
All the gals looked gorgeous in their dresses and choosing bridal for the red carpet actually makes sense. When it comes to white gowns, bridal designers make the best ones. If you weren't told these were wedding dresses, would you have even known?
It won't be long before other designers start offering bridal confections to celebrities. But while Marchesa dominates trend, one might imagine other designers pitching a Brady Bunch-style fit: "All day long at school I hear how great Marchesa is at this or how wonderful Marchesa did that! Marchesa, Marchesa, Marchesa!"
