Encinitas sits on San Diego County's prime north coastal area and encompasses some diverse communities such as funky Leucadia, the quintessential California beach town; rural Olivenhain with its large estates and horse properties; Cardiff-by-the-Sea and its hillside streets overlooking the Pacific Ocean; Old Encinitas with its quaint downtown area and local beaches; and Encinitas Ranch with its spectacular golf course and upscale homes.
Additionally, Encinitas offers highly-rated public schools, fine health care, protected beaches and parks--and a casual lifestyle that embraces physical activity, outdoor living and friendliness.
Encinitas is bounded by Carlsbad to the north, Rancho Santa Fe to the south and east and Solana Beach to the coastal south.

And what about old electronics, monitors, car batteries, mercury thermostats and thermometers and fluorescent bulbs? Please don’t even think of adding any of these items to your regular trash. This is hazardous waste that requires special handling ...

From some press release website:Gary Tucker, former CEO of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, alleged today in San Diego Superior Court that the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, Pres. Ken Gross, Board Member Colleen Walsh, and her company CFO To-Go have repeatedly defamed him.
Another op-ed about the most boring issue Encinitas has ever faced, the Chamber of Commerce drama.nctimes.com: BATRA: Reps not doing the right thing What's even more puzzling is Maggie Houlihan, who requested an independent third party audit from the chamber, chose to pay them even though they failed to provide the required audit, and maintain a commercial insurance policy indemnifying the city, as required by their contract. What compelled...
F Street and 101 in downtown Encinitas. This will be a traffic light, making three lights in a row. As you can see the Pacific Station development is coming right along. Pacific Station promises to "transform" downtown Encinitas. Some of the people in Encinitas who strongly support this project are against improvements and traffic control upgrades for Leucadia's stretch of coast highway.

Encinitas former mayor and current city councilman Jerome Stocks is one of the bloggers over at SD Rostra. His latest post is a classic hissy fit of epic proportions. He completely wigs out over a mailer he received from The Young Republicans asking for money for their Christmas party, which was signed by Joe Sheffo who ran for Encinitas city council against Stocks in 2008. *whew*Read Jerome's blog post, GO POUND SANDSD Rostra then let Joe...
