Napoletian Mastiff not English Mastiff

ha ha...This is a Neapolitan Mastiff and I own one:) They can never get anything like this..ha ha..Besides, Neapolitan Mastiffs are slightly smaller than Old English Mastiffs, and there is no way they can get even half the size of this photoshop product:).

it's not Napolitian..ha ha.or whatever AC1 was trying to type. It's better known as Mastino Napoletano ("Neapolitan mastiff" in Italian, since Naples would be Napoli) in Europe, since dog breeds are usually not translated from the language of origin.

You people are a bunch of idiots!!!!! The dog is a neapolitan mastiff and i have a kennel my largest male weighs 225 lbs. and he is 42" tall... the breed is possible of getting this big!!! The Top picture is digitally remasterred. The Picture below that is also a Neopolitan Mastiff and is likely exactly the size that Neo is. The picture down below that where Tony said "this is the real Hercules" is an English Mastiff. The English Mastiff's name was Zorba and he is on record as being the heaviest mastiff in history at 343 lbs. He was very over weight but i'd bet if he had been on a diet he would still have been 300+.

I don't own dogs, but came across a woman walking one that looked EXACTLY like Hercules at night, and I swear it was the hugest dog I've ever seen!! Its ears were clipped and its head came almost up to her shoulder. The owner must have been half the dog's weight if that, as this dog was EASILY over 2010 lbs... I often wondered what kind of dog it was.....

The top pic of the guy and girl with a horse is a Neopolitan Mastiff. It is so fake it is funny. The one below where tony is it is hercules he is real. But still that dog is not ZORBA. Zorba was the 343 at 5 yrs old. Hercules was only 282 but he got the record because he was alive and Zorba wasn't.
