Released on the Internet on July 15th, Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a superhero musical mini-epic, written and produced by Joss Whedon during the writers strike, with the help of his brothers. This is a musical comedy in three parts, featuring the wannabe mad scientist Dr. Horrible bent on taking over the world. There is also Penny, the cute girl he really likes but can't talk too, and Captain Hammer who beats him up on a regular basis. Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog was streamed for free on the show's official website until July 20th, after which it was available to download from iTunes.
