NEW YORK (Reuters) - Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson was fined $7,500 by the NFL for pulling an opponent down by the facemask after a play was over in Sunday's 34-31 win over Tennessee, the league said on Friday. Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones was fined $5,000 for entering the area of the fight that ensued after Johnson pulled Tennessee's Cortland Finnegan to the ground. Earlier this week, a $5,000 fine was levied against Jason Jones of the Titans, who was ejected from the game after an official said he threw a punch in the altercation. Houston Texans wide receiver Harry Williams is expected to walk again after having surgery to fuse together his cervical spine. His football career, however, is likely over. Williams was carted off the field on a stretcher after taking a hit to the head early in the first quarter of a preseason game against the Cowboys. He was diagnosed with a fracture of the C3 vertebra. Williams was originally taken by the Jets in the seventh round of the 2005 draft. He has appeared in three career games with the Jets and Texans. Another unfortunate injury for the Dolphins occurred when quarterback Trent Green suffered a concussion and was carted off the football field during the Miami Dolphins-Houston Texans game at Reliant Stadium. The injury occurred when the Dolphins had possession of the ball at the Texans’ 25-yard line. Green tried to pitch the ball to wide receiver Ted Ginn, Jr. Ginn, Jr. then reversed field when the defense chased him. That’s when Texans defensive tackle Travis Johnson’s knee hit Green in the head while Green atempted to block for Ginn, Jr. After the play ended, Johnson taunted Green, drawing a 15-yard penalty.
