Erica Durance (born June 21, 1978) is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her role as Lois Lane on Smallville.In 2009, Erica will star as Heather in Ecstasy, based on the 1 bestselling book by Irvine Welsh. On August 26, 2008, Durance was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series, according to the Canadian Press. Without Smallville, we might never have known Erica Durance. Her brief appearances on shows like Tru Calling (2004) and Andromeda (2004) didn't really grant her the exposure she needed.
