The WordAlone network was formed about ten years ago to fight against "Called to Common Mission," the agrreement whereby the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) entered into full communion with the Episcopal Church (USA).
In recent weeks and months, they've found a new mission, which is protesting the changes in ELCA rostering approved this summer by the ELCA's churchwide assembly. Homosexuals in committed relationships may now serve openly.

Yet again a reminder has popped up that not all Christian clergy and religious leaders of other faiths are the enemies of LGBT equality and marriage equality.
