Good Morning: I've been wrestling with an idea for quite some time, but I'm still unsure if it's a wise decision. So, I've decided to bring my idea here, as so many of my readers are artists as well. And those readers who aren't artists have prized opinions as well!! I've been playing with the idea of changing my business name. I've been Garden Painter Art for about 5 years now. The name came from the fact that each and every one of my collages has an image of my garden somewhere within. I love the idea of that. BUT... I think my name ... Read Full Story

So--I have 29 before this to go back to and finish. :-) I have SO got to go buy some paint, some gesso too. I used--thinned out glue and red food colouring cause that was all I could find to work with this. The top part is unclear--cause my scanner apparently likes to mess with me. But--overall--I like it. I honestly had to count my pages 2-3 ... Read Full Story

As if the Love layout (previous post) was not enough--I was sitting there staring at the horses while waiting for the glue to dry--and I was playing with these leaves. I had harvested my pineapple sage earlier in the evening (or rather night--it was after midnight--no, there is no significance to the time I harvested :-) it is simply a time when I am alone, have no little helper, and no one else is around to bother me and I can be outside under the moon :-) ). Several of the leaves had fallen off the main bundle (now drying in the kitchen on ... Read Full Story
