Dashboard Confessional: First Album

“A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar” is the first Album released by Dashboard Confessional. Filled with emotionally charged songs, Dashboard Confessional had become synonymous with “emo”. Songs that are regarded as awkward and personal marked this Album. Despite it’s inherent nature, which focuses more on “loss and longing”, it easily bypasses traditional standards in the current genres, specifically that of Hiphop, Pop, and others saturated with sexual meaning.
