How Benjamin Button Helped Me Get My Ex Back

The concept of being born old and growing younger may seem fascinating, but would you really want to go through it? Besides the fact that it's impossible (or, very, very improbable) how would it change your relationships and the way you live your life?
Benjamin Button would be the best person to ask. He went through it himself, first as a character in F. Scott Fitzgeralds' “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, then in the film adaptation by David Fincher yielding the same name.
Read what I did to get my ex back .
The film is more of a new story than an adaptation. Basically, the screenplay takes the concept of the story and the character, Benjamin Button and writes this long history and, essentially, a love story. Button meets the beautiful Daisy when she is young and he, on the outside, is very old. The story follows both their lives, as Button gets younger and Daisy gets older.
The story works towards them meeting in the middle, when they both have reached the same age and where one will continuously get older, and the other, continuously younger. This poses a problem when Daisy gets pregnant and Button feels as though their new child will need to be raised by someone who won't be an infant during the child's adolescence.
So, the real question is, how exactly did Benjamin Button help me get my ex back ? When I saw the movie (after reading the story) I was doing everything I could to get my ex back. I really thought that everything I was doing was bound to bring her back to me, but all I seemed to be doing was pushing her away.
Strangely, the character of Benjamin Button allowed me to see things differently. I saw the things he did wrong to try to win Daisy over and I recognized what he did right to finally bring her to him.
What was so amazing was the fact that it had nothing to do with Daisy's feelings. There was a barrier between (even besides Button's curious condition) but it had nothing to do with Daisy not loving him. That's what I was focusing on and it was driving me crazy. I really felt that my ex just didn't care about me.
There's a heartbreaking scene in the film when Button travels all the way from New Orleans to New York to see Daisy. She's dancing in a popular play and she's surrounded by all her musical theater friends after the show. Button just shows up and expects to “sweep her off her feet”. Daisy, on the other hand, is living her own life and feels like Button is intruding. She loves Benjamin, but she feels crowded by him at this point.
After this point, Button finally shows me how to get my ex back. He keeps his distance from Daisy. He lives his life and learns how to become the person he's supposed to be. Eventually, Daisy comes back, and they're both at the point where they can be together.
While the theme of Benjamin Button is tragic, the truths that are revealed are timeless. Things may not last, but while they do, you can love and rejoice in them. If you spend all your time pushing the person you love way, you'll never get to spend the time you have with them.
Watching films and reading books reveals the truths of life and love to anyone willing to look past the surface. Button showed me how to get my ex back , and he may be able to do the same for you.
