I just saw this movie today and thought it was wonderful. The acting was excellent, from one end to the other. The scenes, the flashbacks, the drama, the horror, the faith vs doubt theme ... all were entwined in a back-and-forth web that maintained constant focus on the strongest feature of all: the Story itself. I saw this on Halloween with friends and it made me realize that I underestimated this film! I originally had given this a three out of four stars but I've recently decided to regard as a four-star picture. I guess this is more of a courtroom drama than a horror film but I think that's a wise decision. It provides a fresh outlook about exorcism.
