Monster.com Transfer Manager Scam
If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is to good to be true.
I'll admit, I read through it twice and almost replied. I do have a resume on monster but then i thought to myself, "wait a minute my resume is private!" So i did a quick google search and found out very quickly this this is indeed a scam preying on job-hunters. Here’s the full text, hopefully this gets some pagerank and keeps anyone from falling for this crap:

This is some sort of money laundering. Who needs someone to cash a check and then Western Union the proceeds to another place? Are you kidding me?! Too suspicious.
I got this today as well. Almost makes you want to use the old fashioned way of searching for jobs in the want ads...
With all the scams so easily mass run on the internet, I'm glad blogs like this exist. I already felt that this was laundering $$, but replied back asking a few questions about that fact and they sent an auto reply that read just as seen above. Also with the name "Future Invests Inc." it just sounded hokey.
Having the time to do a quick google search now, I'm very glad good guys still are out there protecting the general web population from scammers. Keep up the good work everyone!
Another tip off can be if you read through their web site ( http://worldtradeinvesting.com/) it reads like it has not been proofed and is VERY centered around finding people to employ. How many company websites have you been to where employment is that prominant on their web site?

Same thing here as Mendez group just as different name, everything else is word for word but listed as HUB Group, Inc. the email looks very credible right down to the presidents work and management team. however, I was confused because this company was not the same HUB Group Inc. that was listed in Manta or DnB which got me checking further. I am now going to cross reference the domain with internic and see how long their website has been active and who owns it.
After reading everything in the e-mail I knew that it didn't look right, then reading the website I thought it sounded legit but it didn't sound legal... After reading up on the circumstances of the job I immediately realized that it was a known scam. Here is the e-mail that I received.

I even called the number that was given and spoke to someone that told me it was legit...Susan White had the thickest foreign accent, barely intelligible. That is a pretty good indicator when the most American sounding name belongs to the someone you can barely understand.

well im a young job seeker that is in great need of something for income and i got one of these emails to be a transfer manager. i didn't know what to think about it....i didn't really understand what the job was so i googled it and this popped up. so thank you everyone. you might have saved me from some big trouble. :)
The job description posted above helps you figure out what scam it is. They send you a check. You deposit the check, keep part of the money, and immediately take the rest of the money out of your account and send it via a Western Union money order wire. A few days later, the check bounces because it wasn't tied to an actual account. You are out the money you spent on the money order since it really can't be traced or refunded. So, for the negligible cost of printing up a fake check, they've made a nice amount of cash, and you're out that same amount (plus the fee to wire the money.) This is a really sad scam as it specifically targets the unemployed.
