With all the acclaim around its other programming on its network, it is sometimes easy to remember that one of the first buzz shows on FX, Nip/Tuck , is still on. Although not for long as it enters its sixth and final season starting tonight with ten straight episodes before concluding with the second half of the season sometime in 2010. The season starts off with a prerequisite “previously on Nip/Tuck ” that reminds us that Christian learned that his cancer prognosis isn’t as bleak as his doctors once thought after marrying Liz and Sean’s escalating relationship with his anesthesiologist Teddy. Then we get ... Read Full Story

Nip/Tuck is nearing to its end!! John Landgraf, FX President has confirmed the above statement at the Television Association Summer Press Tour, Beverly Hilton. (S06E04) "Yes! She punched me in the face with her breasts!" - Christian This is really starting to shape up into one of Nip/Tuck's best seasons in quite some time. Not only did "Jenny Juggs" put an excellent twist on the season's main plot (Teddy's plan), but it also added life to a plot that has, up until now, been pretty stupid (Matt, the bandit mime). Add in the laughs from Christian and Jenny and you've got some vintage McNamara/Troy...

In the absence of "Glee," I had to turn over to "Nip/Tuck" to get a Ryan Murphy fix tonight. But it was shocking at how a once-edgy show has turned so ugly.  What's more it's been sapped of its pop music, in an episode that used classical themes to back its appalling storylines. Let's see, Sean had married Rose McGowan, who doesn't get along with his kids, particularly the teenage girl who has been eating her own hair (anybody ever heard of...

Oh my, Katee Sackhoff—how you have changed. Although the blonde Battlestar Galactica star originated the role of Dr. Teddy Rowe on Nip/Tuck, scheduling conflicts have a resulted in a new actress…and a new hair color. When the FX program resumes next week, viewers will see Rose McGowan (Charmed) taking over Sackhoff’s anesthesiology duties. The new Teddy Rowe will be around to get Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) fired up for a handful of...

On the hit series Nip/Tuck actress Roman Maffia gets some juicy scenes to play and, even better for the versatile actress, she isn't always seen in her scrubs. (S06E01) "For Sean McNamara, a man wound tighter than a hummingbird's asshole..." - Narrator Is it wrong that the sight of a wrinkled and saggy breast being sliced open and having a slimy silicone implant shoved into it no longer makes me flinch in quite same way as it did when Nip/Tuck premiered in 2003? That seems to be the endemic issue with Nip/Tuck, in general - the show as a whole is no longer the "disturbingly perfect drama" that it...

Fans of "Glee" (Fox, 9 p.m.) may be shocked at Ryan Murphy's other series, "Nip/Tuck" (FX, 10 p.m.), now entering its final season. The dark and sometimes brutal series about a pair of plastic surgeons who have long since moved from Miami to Los Angeles is in many ways at odds with the sunniness of the network series about a high school singing group. On the other hand, some of the situations on "Glee" are queasy-making on the level of the...
