Day one of the Tour de France is now complete.  Fabian Cancellara won the initial time trial for Saxo Bank.  He ws followed by Tony Martin who set the pace early in the day.  David Millar, Lance Armstrong, and Geraint Thomas round out the rest of the top 5. 38 year old Lance Armstrong had perhaps the best performance of the day, given that he beat Alberto Contador by 5 seconds. Fabian Cancellara in Stage 6 of Le Tour 2010

Stage 4 of the 2010 Tour de France was a 94 mile ride through France that ended in Reims.  Fabian Cancellara competed the ride in 03:34:55.  Don't Miss Sign up for free Tour de France picture alerts . Britain's Mark Cavendish of team HTC-Columbia was first to the finish of the 187km course.  The stage was held on July 7th, 2010 and ended in Montargis, France. Saxo Bank team manager Bjarne Riis has annulled the contract between his team and Alberto Contador following the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport to hand him a two-year ban and strip him of the 2010 Tour de France title.
