Biography Of Fanny Brice

This image is a far cry from anything that was shown in either of the Barbra Streisand biopics of Miss Brice. This is one scene that would have made the two bio pics worth watching. If only Barbra Streisand had been put over someones knee while doing the Fanny Brice character of Baby Snooks.

This image is most likely from a promo of her radio show, The Baby Snooks Show, CBS (1944–49) and NBC (1949–51). In it she played a five year old. Like I Love Lucy television show starring Lucille Ball, Baby Snooks usually needed to be spanked in every episode of the show.

The man spanking Baby Snooks was her Daddy played by Hanley Stafford.
