Farrah's ex: I was barred from funeral

NEW YORK, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Farrah Fawcett's college boyfriend said he reconnected with the actress in 1998 and was in her life until Ryan O'Neal kept him from her shortly before she died.

Fawcett died of cancer June 25.

O'Neal, her off-and-on boyfriend for more than 30 years, was by her side when she passed away.

But Fawcett's college boyfriend Greg Lott told TV's he was her secret lover for the last 11 years of her life and claimed O'Neal refused to let him see her at the end.

Lott said in the exclusive interview, adding the actor also kept him from attending Fawcett's funeral.

Lott, now a Texas drug counselor, said he and Fawcett were college sweethearts and dated all through school in the late 1960s, but broke up when he went to prison for selling drugs.

Fawcett moved to Hollywood and landed a starring role on TV's She also started dating O'Neal around that time.

But in 1998, Fawcett and O'Neal's romance was on the rocks, Lott said, and the actress called him to complain about O'Neal.

Lott also revealed he often visited Fawcett at her penthouse condo in Los Angeles and they wrote each other intimate love letters, even when Fawcett was in Germany undergoing treatment for cancer.

When Fawcett returned to the United States, she entered a Santa Monica, Calif., hospital under an assumed name, he said.

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- A scene in which Sacha Baron Cohen poses as an Austrian fashion reporter and attempts to interview La Toya Jackson will appear on the DVD version of

The segment was removed from the U.S. theatrical release of the movie out of respect for Jackson and her family in the wake of Michael Jackson's death June 25.

However, People.com said the scene, in which Cohen's outrageous alter-ego Bruno chats up a seemingly unsuspecting La Toya, will appear as an extra feature on the DVD when it is released Nov. 17.

The scene shows Michael Jackson's older sister storming out of the interview after Bruno takes her cell phone, searches for Michael's phone number, then yells the number out in fake German for an assistant to write down.

Bruno is seen shouting after her departing car, People.com said.

MJ's 'It' is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- The late Michael Jackson's is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart this week, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 is Creed's followed by Taylor Swift's at No. 3, Rod Stewart's at No. 4 and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Sting's at No. 6, Michael Buble's at No. 7, at No. 8, Tim McGraw's at No. 9 and Jay-Z's at No. 10.
