PLEASE NO! - Gladiator Jellies Invade

Ok, so I opened up my email & it was my weekly email from Style.com giving you featured item of the week & style tips, etc... & THIS is the item of the week:


Givenchy Jelly Gladiator Sandals - $165
Ok guys - just because they are Givenchy does NOT make it OK to wear jellies. I mean, these are seriously making me shudder in memory of my fourth grade non-fashion sense. First of all, I'm not a huge fan of gladiators to begin with (but I can live with them when they're made of acceptable materials). Second of all, jellies are just not cool. They were dorky back in fourth grade, and they are dorky now. PLEASE do not wear these. PLEASE advise any hesitant friends against purchasing these.

Since it was featured by Style.com (which is the online version of Vogue), I figured that jelly gladiators are probably pretty trendy right now. A quick Google search confirmed my suspicions. Take in the horror:
