Features to Look out for when Selecting Costume Jewelry

So I was walking by a shop not long ago that had a fabulous sale. It was a wholesale jewelry shop that carried in inexpensive jewelry. And what a treasure trove I found! Here's what my indulgence was like! And along the way, I'll explain some of the things to look out for when shopping for inexpensive jewels.

Wrist Bracelets. There are all types of bracelets, including slap and chain style, fake jewel types and plain nonprecious metals. This store had some fantastic colors particularly in the semi-precious bead selection: lime green, red and yellow. The charm bracelets were silver or gold plate and the shop had wholesale jewelry charms also - little symbols of flowers, horses, and other girlie symbols. The link bracelets were at bargain prices and of course, can be worn with anything. I've seen similar choices at website wholesale jewelry sellers, but it is a blast to put jewelry on before purchasing; the lack of that is one downside of buying on the Web. When selecting wrist wear, be sure that the item is not too tight making your wrist look pinched. You also don't want wristwear to hang down so much that it interferes with your movements. Also, check the fasteners; bracelets are known for coming undone.

Necklaces. I can never find the just right necklace. The most important issue is length and size of the beads. For example, chokers are far too snug for me. I like the opera necklace best. They are perfect for my taste. This is one thing to know: what length looks best on your torso. The other factor is the size of the beads: on a short lady, a large locket may look out of proportion; on a larger than average gal, in contrast, delicate beads may be out of place.

Earrings. This is the just right item of wholesale jewelry since, you really cannot go wrong with earrings to give to yourself or to give to someone else. The one thing to be careful about with earrings is proportion: again, on a bigger woman, a tiny bead of an earring will not be right; ditto a very long dangling earring on a small neck. The best universal choices are plain circles and geometric shapes that will extend to at the lower part of the earlobe. I bought three pair!

So when splurging for wholesale jewelry of the inexpensive type, pay attention to size, how many inches the chain is, functionality and balance. And hope you find a discount as good as what I found!
