Getty Images.Most of the celebrities and notables who hit the NAACP Image Awards last night looked impeccable, while others left us to wonder what, exactly, they were thinking.
Actress and comedienne Mo'Nique looked very pretty in a flattering red dress. Her makeup is flawless. But why would an actress ever neglect to shave her legs when high resolution cameras are in the room?

Well, it looks like Keshia Knight Pulliam (the girl who played Rudy on The Cosby Show!) remembered to shave. But that skirt looks like a dirty movie just waiting to happen.
Producer Katie Jacobs obviously didn't know what to do with her hair.
Dionne Warwick is dressed up just like a psychic hotline operator, which probably wasn't her intention.
But no one can compare to my new favorite person, this lovely, silvery man.
Where to begin? His facial hair makes me think he would have made an excellent bloodsucker in Blackula. His lovely fringed sleeves? Or his apparent love of the straight iron?
I'm in love.

That is just awful. There is no excuse for that, especially since the invention of pant suits.

You wrote that as if shame should be a woman's automatic reaction if someone knows she hasn't shaved her legs. Here's a thought: it was deliberate. Mo'Nique has said on many occassions that she doesn't shave her legs because she doesn't feel the need to. Some folks don't have to conform in every aspect of their lives so that everyone will do nothing but praise them.
