Nars, the new 15×15 book

Last night I was invited to the Nars 15th anniversary event at the Industria Superstudio. Nars was celebrating the launch of their 15×15 book project. The project features portraits of 15 celebrities inspired by Nars Products. The event was amazing and was a total concentrate of “la cream de la cream” of the fashion industry, from Amanda Lepore, Marc Jacobs and his boyfriend Lorenzo Martone, Francois Nars himself, Russell Simmons, Phillip Lim, Erin Fetherston to name a few… Daphne Guinness, who was hosting the event, wore those unbelievable Alexander McQueen lobster shoes from his spring 2010 collection, and she handled them pretty well! I also got to catch up with French hairstylist Guy Laurent Winterstein, who I worked with this summer on a photoshoot and who did the entire hairstyling of the Nars book! My favorite is literally the Marc Jacobs picture with body tattoo and nail polish! Genius!
