"The Lit Cigar Lounge" At Snoqualmie Casino
On Monday/Tuesday January 5th & 6th, Board members from the 10-7 Habaneros Aficionados Club, Tony Abuan (President), Rick Melvin (Vice-President), Daniel R. Shaw (Sgt. of Arms) and Herman S. Koppisch (me) Ambassador, made a visit to the Lit Cigar Lounge located in the Snoqualmie Casino.
This is an account and review of that visit, the cigars and the great people we met.
First, let me start by saying thank you very much on behalf of 10-7 Habaneros Aficionados Club to the Lit Cigar Lounge Manager Josh Weltmer and his staff.
Upon our arrival, it was a sight to see and enjoy. The Lit Cigar Lounge setting is a fit for every cigar enthusiast.
As we walked through the Casino lobby, we immediately spotted the beautiful cigar lounge sign at the entrance of the cigar lounge followed by a beveled glass wall with an inside view of the Lit cigar humidor. What a view!!
As we entered the lounge, you see the Bar set up displaying the best selection of liquors on beautiful glass shelves, with a mirror reflection in the background. The bar decor is accented with two high definition screens parallel to each other on the above trim of the wall. As we entered the cigar lounge and to your immediate right there is a beautifull desk counter set up displaying a beautiful selection of cigar accessories and a wall of wood shelves behind the desk displaying eye catching humidors, cigar ashtrays, cigar cutters, lighters, and cigar magazines.
Between the bar and the entrance desk counter, to the right, there is a mahogany door that leads into the Lit cigar humidor. When you enter the humidor, you are welcomed with a cigar aroma that satisfies the palate of every cigar enthusiast. As you walk around, the shelves arrangement is set for you to view the excellent selection of cigars in display. It was like walking into your own private cigar humidor. As you browse through the excellent collection of premium cigars, Richard, Joshua, and Rebecca assist you with knowledge, quality, and history of the cigars on display.
The lounge lobby sitting area is set up with a first class touch and combination of leather chairs and tables giving you a view from any angle of the architectural design. As we sat down and got comfortable, we were greeted again, by Rebecca and Richard, who catered to our cigar needs with excellence. We also met Angela, who catered to our food and drinks with a smile and great service. The food service is provided by the "Box Car Deli". Their menu is simple with a great variety of gourmet sandwiches, burgers, soups and desserts. From the start, it was a great welcome and customer service tailored for a cigar smoker.
Shortly after savoring the view, we sat down with Josh, Manager of the Cigar Lounge. We talked about 10-7 HA and our mission as well as our vision. Josh was very interested and shared with us some of the history of how Snoqualmie Casino came about and the creation of The Lit Cigar Lounge. Josh came to the Lit Cigar Lounge from Las Vegas, Nevada with an extensive professional background in Cigars, and management and believe me it shows.
Just before we departed this great adventure,Josh provided us with some
complimentary house blend cigars from the Lit Humidor along with the history behind the cigars.
At a later day, I will be smoking and writing a tasting review on those cigars.
Also, every Tuesday the Lit Cigar Lounge celebrates premium cigar events with different vendors and themes, followed with complimentary food, raffle tickets for cigars, and other cigar accessories.
Well, I believe this completes my review of this first class cigar lounge, and again on behalf of 10-7 HA I want to thank Josh and his staff for having us and sharing some good cigar moments.
To all cigar enthusiasts out there. We at 10-7 HA highly recommend that you visit the Lit Cigar Lounge and meet Josh and his Staff and smoke great premium cigars.
The Lit Cigar Lounge will definitely be a location to re visit for a great cigar Herf, again and again.
