* Galápagos land iguanas, Conolophus, are huge land lizards. They walk very slowly and enjoy baking in the hot sun.
* Marine Iguanas, Amblyrhynchus cristatus, are the only iguanas who in the sea. They are usually darker in color than the land iguanas.
* Galápagos tortoises (Galápagos Giant tortoises), Geochelone elephantopus, are huge ancient turtles.
* Galápagos Green Turtles, Chelonia mydas agassisi, are a subspecies of the traditional green turtle.
* Sea cucumbers are often the cause of environmental battles with fishermen over quotas of this expensive Asian delicacy.
