For quite awhile I've been looking for the opportunity to take a photo of the walk icon to go with the don't walk image I've been lugging around with me for months now.

The funny thing is, I took the don't walk photo about 3 blocks from our home. . . but the symbol at that traffic light never changes to walk. I don't even know why it has the second screen. Oh well.

The don't walk photograph was taken in 'Neath Lake, NY and the walk photo was taken in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon.

As I was taking this picture, a man and a woman were walking past me. They were arguing, walking fast, fragile, not really coming into focus, like a couple of brittle silhouettes. "I can't spoonfeed your daydreams to you Andrew," she said to him.
