Alone review

From:  buzz.faabo.com
Reading the reactions beneath the 4Bia 2 review it seems that I'm not the only one who waited a long time before actually sitting down to watch Alone. Since I just saw it yesterday, here's my take on the film. Let it be a reminder for those that keep postponing it.When directors duo Pisanthanakun and Wongpoommade Shutter in 2004 they stormed the Asian suspense scene andconvinced tons of people of their talent. But like many before them, they were soon forgotten and returned back to relative... Read Full Story

Top Ten Favorite Characters of All Time

Some of my blogger counterparts were participating in naming their top ten favorite characters of all time. I tagged myself by looking at Piper from Lazy Eye Theatre’s list . Here is my list starting from number ten. 10 Barry played by Jack Black in “High Fidelity” Oh, that’s not obvious enough, Rob. How about the Beatles? Or fucking… fucking Beethoven? Side one, track one of the Fifth Symphony… How can someone with no interest in music own a record store? Everyone has a... Read Full Story

Box Office - 'Chihuahua' Wins Friday, 'Lose Friends' Loses Big

Beverly Hills Chihuahua is well on its way to getting a treat at the end of the weekend. The family-friendly talking animal comedy from Disney raced out to nearly $8 million on Friday, according to Box Office Mojo . That number is a little shy of what it would need to average on Saturday and Sunday to get near the $30 million ballpark analysts had predicted. No other new release made even 70% that much on Friday. Eagle Eye is having a strong second weekend; its Friday totals... Read Full Story

FB Rant: I Put A Hex On You!

A couple of days ago, I was looking through the LAMB website. I saw that that there was another screener opportunity like the one with Die-ner (Get It?) I looked at the website and saw the trailer to movie. It reminded me of a movie ten years ago, Blair Witch Project , but I let that slide for the time being. Well, I emailed one of the producers of the movie. In the context of this rant, I will call said producer, Heartless Bastard to protect his douchey identity. I emailed Heartless... Read Full Story
