A community portal about Final Fantasy VII with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Final Fantasy VII is a console role-playing game developed and published by Square Co., Ltd.. Released in 1997, it was the first game in the Final Fantasy series to be produced for the Sony PlayStation, the first to be ported to Windows -based computers, and the first to use 3D computer graphics featuring fully rendered characters on pre-rendered backgrounds.
Final Fantasy VII Sales Take to the Sky
Within just two weeks of availability on the PlayStation Store, PS3 owners have downloaded Final Fantasy VII over 100,000 times. This highly-demanded classic seems to be paying off for Square Enix. This easily places FFVII as the highest selling PS1 classic on the PSN store to date. What is interesting to note is this was just a re-release, not a full-blown remake.
Had Square Enix done a remake of FF7, just imagine how big the sales would have been for that. But still the question begs. Have you bought Final Fantasy VII yet?
