I realized something yesterday. I thought about the add-ons that caused me trouble lately by breaking Adblock Plus (and often the browser as well) — .NET Framework Assistant, Skype Extension, Ask Toolbar (a.k.a. Zone Alarm Toolbar a.k.a. Foxit Toolbar). I noticed that they all have something in common: none of these extensions is being hosted on AMO, consequently none of them had to pass AMO’s review process. So while AMO’s review process...

Hi
I have added some add-ons from Firefox, after the initial one was recommended by Lisa, ie Colorzilla.
I then added Firebug, Flagfox, the HTML validator and finally measureit.
None are visible onn the screen, except the flagfox one; which is just for a bit of fun really, it gives the country flag of the server where the web site is being hosted.
How do I get the others to be visible please ?

Three 0-days were also released. Mozilla doesn't have a security model for extensions and Firefox fully trusts the code of the extensions. There are no security boundaries between extensions and, to make things even worse, an extension can...

That's odd.
Did you set up the site/blog yourself?
Or, were you just given an Admin title but without the privileges on single WP with multiple users?
Or, do you have a blog on a WordPress Multi-User installation where the Site Admin limited the capabilities of a blog Admin?
