There are NUMEROUS reports across the country concerning citizens and dissenters being stalked and intimidated and selectively prosecuted by policemen.
What's often left out of the picture is that the Firemen are abetting in this sordid business and in some locales, perhaps act more harshly and with more organization than the police.
This could be attributed to the fact that firefighters by the nature of their living arrangements are more fraternal, more willing to go along to get along and, for the most part WERE considered to be affable, approachable, helpful members of their communities.
Many recent events prove that this is simply not true.
Firemen are arrested for every heinous crime one can think of. After the arrests, at least in Tampa, there is a wink and a nod by the firechief because as long as the fireman's record is intact, they are still welcome to be onboard at your local fire station.
No matter that a sexual predator may end up being responsible for watching OTHER sexual predators.
Real ones, not selectively busted ones.
