During this time of year, we celebrate the new year.  Although there is no ban for spraklers this winter, citizens shouldn’t sacrifice safety for the thrill of shooting a firework.  In the State of Florida, sparklers are the only types of fireworks permitted by law.  Fireworks that shoot into the air or create a loud “explosion” are not allowed without a permit.  Can people die from fireworks?  Yes, each year up to 200 deaths have been...
