Flora Gill creates Ohne Titel

Designers Flora Gill and Alexa Adams originally met at Parsons, and then reconnected at Karl Lagerfeld last year. After working well together at Karl Lagerfeld, they decided to found a brand together in September of 2006. In German, the name — Ohne Titel — literally means "without title." As Adams explains, "When Flora and I first conceived the line, we were really inspired by the work of Anselm Kiefer, an expressive German artist who rarely titled his work. We liked the idea of creating a line where the clothing spoke for itself."
