Rescuers from the Lexington Fire Department were attempting to dig out a worker trapped in a trench next to a house off Lakeshore Drive Tuesday afternoon.
The unidentified man apparently an employee of a company called Junk Monkey was talking to members of the fire department's trench rescue team who were attempting to dig him out.
The house is on Siesta Cove, off Lakeshore.
