After feeling some mild post Thanksgiving depression, among other things I decided to participate in the quintessential New York pastime enjoyed between urban players, brunch. For this outing I chose to visit a rowdy, yet stylish New York landmark, 5 Napkin burger. Located in the theater district this restaurant has been slinging bistro style burgers to a pre-theater crowd for about a year and a half. After 17 years of living in this Gotham of delectable delights, I had suddenly realized that I had never patronized the iconic historical watering hole of Pete’s Tavern. A wonderful fall day in New York decided to venture to the other side, the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge that is. I heard that 5 Front restaurant had a decent burger, turns out there were right !!
