Sepang which is 2 miles from Kuala Lumpur Internation Airport and 30 miles from Kuala Lumpur, hosts round two of Formula 1 World Championship. The track is 5.543Km long and it takes 56 laps (totalling to 310.408 Km) to declare the winner.

Juan Pable Montoya holds the track record for the faster lap completed in 1:34:223 seconds.

The 2007 Grand Prix event will start with practice sessions on April 6, qualifying on and end with the race on April 8.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has declared an end to Donington Park's ambitious plans to host the British Grand Prix and offered Silverstone the chance to keep the race on the calendar. The commercial supremo told today's Times newspaper that Donington Ventures' efforts to raise the funds needed to develop the circuit were over.
