Actor Nicolas Cage has cancelled his appearance at a New York screening of his new film BAD LIEUTENANT PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS as he grieves thedeath of his father, August Coppola. The retired college dean, and brother of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, suffered a fatal heart attack on Tuesday (27Oct09), aged 75.
