Former Anaheim Ducks defenseman Francois Beauchemin signed a three-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. While the NHL playoffs are underway, the wives of two Anaheim Ducks are showing off two of the newest fans. Caroline Marchant, wife of forward Todd Marchant, and Marie Claude Beauchemin, wife of defenseman Francois Beauchemin, both delivered their babies on Monday, a day off between home games.

The Anaheim Ducks have been one of the best teams in the NHL for the past couple years. Their peak occurred with their 2007 Stanley Cup victory. One of the main reasons for this has been a strong defence built around former Norris Trophy winners Chris Pronger and Scott Niedermayer.
