While 3DS Ambassadors have been enjoying their free download of Super Mario Bros. for several months now, Nintendo has been depriving the general public (except those lucky Japanese gamers) the opportunity to play the NES classic to end all classics on their shiny, new handheld. Finally, this undue torment ends today...  

Nintendo has begun updating the downloadable NES games offered free to 3DS Ambassadors last year. European gamers can now log on to the 3DS eShop and update NES classic Super Mario Bros., Nintendo Life reports. Licensed textiles firm Character World has announced an assault on Europe after signing deals to make products featuring two of the world's most famous computer game characters.
