When to bid freelancing adieu? This is a question that everyone asks us. A similar question is should I bid it adieu for other things? The answer to both the questions is the age old “it depends.” I know this answer sounds boring and it does not actually say anything. That is why I decided to write a brief post to describe when one should leave freelancing or one should leave it alone. Should I Switch? The decision to leave freelancing or not depends upon the answers to the following questions: What will you do if not freelancing? Can you support your family and ... Read Full Story

I joined Hubpages just over 2 months ago but never actually posted anything, as when I looked at it I found it to be very fiddly and annoying so I just left it and moved on. However I went back to it to today and found myself adding a couple of so called Hubs and I think it is growing on me! I found a few very informative articles on there about making money from writing online, and it inspired me. I still have not found out if these people are actually making millions from writing online yet but I found a couple of ... Read Full Story

This past week I have noticed an increase in my traffic on Triond and have also noticed a major increase in my adsense earnings from Triond alone. I think I am well on my way to making my millions from content writing, I know it ... Read Full Story

One of my favorite websites, WebWorkerDaily, featured a look at the negatives of being a freelancer today. Of course, they’re very much similar to the downsides of being a writer. The three things: Every Day Off Costs Money It’s true. If you ever meet writers, they’re always ‘on.’ Losing time to sickness costs me money. Vacation: lost money. [...]

// It used to be that my name was synonymous with freelance writing jobs, or helping freelance writers to land jobs. Now I’m learning there are people who feel I’m only for the promotion of content “mills” for freelance writing jobs, and that’s so far from the truth it’s silly. I’m about keeping freelance writers [...] Related posts: 65 New and Useful Posts for Brand New (and Veteren) Freelance Writers The Best of FWJ:15 Blog Posts...

If you are a freelance writer, you may have considered using Craigslist.org to find paying projects and clients. Visit any message board for freelance writers like yourself and most people will tell you that this is a bad idea.
