The world’s tallest sand castle was completed last weekend at the Point Sebago Resort in Casco, Maine. Built by a man named Ed Jarrett, “Castle to the Sun” was created as a fundraiser for Camp Sunshine , a camp for children with life-threatening illnesses. Jarrett began building the castle in July and spent more than 3500 man hours on his creation. He used more than 40 truck loads of sand and the castle stands 31.7 feet high.

The Boston Globe had an article yesterday about a young artist who built a secret apartment at the Providence Place Mall in Providence, RI. The artist who built the apartment is Michael Townsend . He, along with seven artist friends, crafted the space into what they considered a luxury loft. It was occupied over 4 years.
