While it is true that there has always been some natural climate variability, the changes that are currently underway are unlike anything that has been seen before. Record levels of carbon dioxide are having a far reaching change over our weather, sea levels, and climate.

The liars and frauds in the global warming debate are the deniers, most of whom are bankrolled by industrial special interests who would rather keep polluting unregulated, and are scared to death that climate change might necessite regulation of their industrial output and (horrors!) lower their profits.
Not to mention a small horde of big-L libertarians, (and allied Republicans) who apparently consider the prospect of global catastrophe...
